Project VISO’s Kick off Conference in Dobrovo
It will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 at 19:30 the second VISO’s kick off conference. Two months after the first presentation conference, which took place at the Castle of Udine, now it's up to Vinska Klet Dobrovo in Slovenia to host winemakers, wine producers, technical consultants, plant nurseries, local media and representatives of administrative and academic institutions.
The second project’s presentation conference comes in the midst of VISO’s activities that directly involve the partners in the field work and in the definition of experimental vineyards regarding varieties of wine plants and locations that were already approved and set up.
At the same time, a part of the laboratory work and genetic studies have started and that will be used on the varieties already planted in the experimental vineyards.
This time the conference will give more space to the presentations of the Slovene partners - University of Nova Gorica, KGZS - Nova Gorica and Konzorcij Brda - as well as the overall presentation of the three-year regional project which should be completed in 2015.
Following the presentations there will be time dedicated to the tasting of experimental wines produced form the varieties and by the methods part f this project and kindly offered by the two consortia, project partners, the Consortium Consortium Brda and Consortium Colli Orientali del Friuli e Ramandolo and by the University of Udine as well.
The conference will be preceded by the third partners administrative and management meeting which requires the presence of representatives of all project partners. During the meeting, the project status will be monitored and shared and future activities regarding also the guided tours of the experimental vineyards will be planned.
The conference will also be a good opportunity for a public presentation of the website, completely dedicated to the VISO project.
